The long-awaited episode on GLP-1 medications is finally here. This class of medications was originally created as a treatment for type 2 diabetes, but now it is becoming a popular weight loss drug as weight loss was a common side effect observed in individuals taking the medication for type 2 diabetes treatment. In this episode, we will cover how these medications work in the body and we will talk about the use of GLP-1 medications on children and teens for weight loss.
